OPERATING RULES AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS OF SELWO AVENTURA

I. VISITOR'S RESPONSIBILITY

Safety is a shared responsibility. Visitors to SELWO AVENTURA (hereinafter, the “Park”) are expected to exercise good judgment and to act responsibly in order to safeguard both their own health and safety and that of those under their care, especially minors, for whom they are responsible and whom they shall supervise at all times.

In this regard, visitors (i) shall READ, COMPLY WITH and RESPECT all rules, instructions, warnings and recommendations, including those provided by our staff, and (ii) shall make APPROPRIATE AND RESPONSIBLE USE of the leisure facilities and of any safety equipment that may, as the case may be, be provided to them.

Each visitor undertakes to maintain civil and considerate conduct, and shall (i) treat other visitors, Park staff and the facilities themselves with respect, and (ii) preserve and respect the flora and fauna of the surroundings.

Visitors who, in the opinion of Park staff, breach the rules and instructions and/or act irresponsibly and/or disrespectfully towards other visitors and/or staff may be expelled from the Park without entitlement to claim any refund whatsoever. Furthermore, if such visitors are holders of any season pass for leisure parks managed by GRUPO PARQUES REUNIDOS (“Bono Parques”), measures may be applied consisting of withdrawal or cancellation of the Bono Parques for a serious breach, or temporary withdrawal or suspension of the Bono Parques for a minor breach, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of this product. Finally, the Park reserves the right to bring such conduct to the attention of the competent authorities.

Visitors SHALL consult the Park’s general operating rules set out below, as well as the guides and specific rules posted at the entrance to each leisure facility.

To this end, visitors who have persons under their care who, either because they are minors or because they have a disability, may not be able to read or properly understand the rules, instructions, warnings and/or recommendations shall explain such rules, instructions, warnings and/or recommendations to them and remind them whenever necessary, without prejudice to Park staff providing any assistance that may be necessary. The Park makes specific information available for visitors with disabilities.

Therefore, visitors shall act responsibly both for their own health and safety and for that of the persons under their care and other persons around them.

II. CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE FACILITIES

Assess your physical and emotional condition BEFORE simply “Doing it”

The Park’s facilities may provide visitors with wonderful memories and exciting fun; however, they may also involve an adrenaline-inducing activity that puts the body under strain.

THEREFORE, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SHALL NOT TAKE PART—OR ALLOW A PERSON IN YOUR CARE TO TAKE PART—in ANY RIDE OR ACTIVITY IF YOU ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, MEDICATION, OR ANY OTHER NARCOTIC SUBSTANCE THAT MAY AFFECT HEALTH, THE SENSES, MENTAL ACUITY, REFLEXES, COORDINATION OR JUDGMENT.

YOU SHALL NOT TAKE PART—OR ALLOW A PERSON IN YOUR CARE TO TAKE PART—in ANY RIDE OR ACTIVITY IF YOU SUFFER FROM, HAVE SUFFERED FROM, OR BELIEVE YOU MAY SUFFER FROM ANY MEDICAL CONDITION, PRE-EXISTING HEALTH ISSUE OR INJURY, INCLUDING—WITHOUT LIMITATION—HEART, NEUROLOGICAL, MUSCULAR, BACK, NECK, BONE, JOINT, TENDON, LIGAMENT, BRAIN, EYE OR EAR INJURIES, OR ANY OTHER ILLNESS OR INJURY THAT COULD BE TRIGGERED OR WORSENED BY USE OF THE PARK’S FACILITIES OR BY PARTICIPATING IN ANY ACTIVITY.

YOU SHALL ALSO REFRAIN FROM USING THE FACILITIES—UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE—IF YOU ARE (OR SUSPECT YOU MAY BE) PREGNANT; IF YOU HAVE UNDERGONE SURGERY IN RECENT MONTHS; OR IF YOU ARE STILL CONVALESCING OR RECOVERING FROM ANY ILLNESS, AILMENT, TREATMENT OR MEDICAL PROCEDURE. ONLY YOU CAN DETERMINE WHETHER YOU ARE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY FIT TO PARTICIPATE SAFELY IN A RIDE OR OTHER ACTIVITY.

THE PARK CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR HEALTH—OR THAT OF THE PERSONS UNDER YOUR CARE. YOU SHALL DETERMINE THAT YOU—AND THE PERSONS UNDER YOUR CARE—ARE IN AN APPROPRIATE STATE AND CONDITION TO USE THE PARK’S FACILITIES, AND YOU SHALL ALSO VERIFY THAT YOU COMPLY WITH THE AGE, WEIGHT AND HEIGHT LIMITATIONS ESTABLISHED IN THE OPERATING RULES.

REMEMBER THAT YOU ASSUME THE RISKS OF ANY ACTIVITY YOU CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN. SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS, YOU MAY REQUEST ASSISTANCE FROM PARK STAFF.

III. GENERAL RULES FOR THE OPERATION OF THE PARK

A) Rules and circumstances of access and use

  1. The Park and its various facilities have limited capacity.
  2. Access to the Park premises with bicycles, skates, scooters and similar items shall be prohibited.
  3. For safety reasons, there are access restrictions to certain facilities, whether for reasons of age, height and/or physical condition. Visitors shall obtain information at the entrance to each ride/activity regarding the applicable access restrictions. Visitors may also consult the Park’s website.
  4. The Park provides specific information for visitors with disabilities.
  5. Some facilities, restaurants, shops and/or pastimes may remain closed for organizational or technical reasons, which may include maintenance, repair, updating and/or improvement operations, as well as for meteorological reasons that make their opening impossible or inadvisable for safety reasons, or due to the technical limitations of rides or facilities as a result of rain, hail, snow, wind or changes in temperature. The Park will try to inform visitors as far in advance as possible via its website, its official social media profiles and at the Park’s information points.
  6. The schedule of educational talks and/or exhibitions is merely indicative and may be modified at any time. Consequently, the Park reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel, in whole or in part, the shows and/or exhibitions planned, including the total or partial removal or alteration of certain scenes, elements, acts or acrobatics, where technical, operational, safety, meteorological or any other reasons which, at its sole discretion, make them impossible or inadvisable apply.
  7. In order to leave the premises temporarily due to force majeure, visitors shall inform ACCESS staff before leaving, since, in order to re-enter, they shall be duly identified (by stamp or by any other identification method established by the Park). Failing this, access to the facilities may be denied. Depending on the type of ticket or Bono Parques held, re-entry after leaving the premises may not be permitted. Visitors shall review the applicable terms and conditions and consult ACCESS staff.
  8. All types of sales and the distribution of flyers, leaflets or products within the Park facilities shall be prohibited, except those expressly authorized by the Park.
  9. The Park has duly accredited photographers who, if the visitor so wishes, may take photographs at the entrance or during the visit. In all cases, photographs are intended solely as a keepsake for visitors. Photographs not purchased by the visitor will be destroyed at the end of the day, with no possibility of recovery. If the visitor purchases a QR code to download their photograph digitally, the photographs will be stored for a maximum period of three (3) months for download and will then be destroyed, with no possibility of recovery. Visitors may obtain information at the photo stand or in the shop, where photographs may be viewed and purchased. Under no circumstances will photographs be sold to persons other than, or unrelated to, those appearing in the photographs. Photographing or recording the images displayed at viewing and sales points is strictly prohibited. The Park is not responsible for photographs or videos that visitors may take personally during their visit, provided this is for private, domestic use and outside the Park’s control. For any questions, comments or inquiries regarding the Park’s photography product, visitors may contact selwo@selwo.es. If an inquiry relates to the processing of an image as personal data, visitors may contact dpo@grpr.com.
  10. The Park’s objective is for visitors to enjoy the fullest possible themed experience and to keep the facilities in proper hygienic and clean conditions; therefore, consumption of food and drink outside the designated areas shall not be permitted. The dining terraces located throughout the Park are for the exclusive use of customers who have purchased their food from any of the Park’s food and beverage outlets.
  11. Access shall be prohibited for minors under 14 years of age who are not accompanied by adults who assume responsibility for their custody and conduct.
  12. Access to the Park premises with pets shall not be permitted, except assistance animals (such as guide dogs) duly accredited in accordance with the applicable regulations.

B) Safety rules

  1. The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages and tobacco are strictly prohibited for minors under 18 years of age.
  2. For safety reasons, the Park reserves the right to have duly authorized staff inspect backpacks, handbags, bags or other luggage, in the cases and within the limits established by law. Access with glass containers or cans shall not be permitted, as they pose a risk to visitor safety.
  3. Visitors shall keep a close watch on their personal belongings, as the Park is not responsible—where causes are not attributable to the Park, its facilities or staff—for any loss, theft, misappropriation or damage that may occur during the visit.
  4. Smoking (including vapes and electronic cigarettes) is prohibited throughout the Park, except in areas specifically designated for this purpose and clearly signposted. The Park reserves the right to expel any person who, after being required by Park staff to comply with this rule, continues to breach it.
  5. The use of drones in the Park is not permitted.
  6. The use of selfie sticks on rides is prohibited to ensure visitor safety. The Park reserves the right to expel from the Park any person who, after being required by Park staff to comply with this rule, continues to breach it.

C) Rules regarding tickets and Bono Parques

  1. The ticket price—or, where applicable, the Bono Parques price—is refundable only in the cases provided for by applicable regulations.
  2. The Park ticket—or, where applicable, the corresponding Bono Parques—shall be kept throughout the visit and shall be shown to Park staff and/or security personnel upon request. The Park reserves the right to expel from the premises any person who is inside the Park without a valid admission ticket or, where applicable, a valid Bono Parques.
  3. If the ticket includes any free companion, such companion shall enter at the same time as the holder and on the first entry to the premises.
  4. Certain rides, services, shows, exhibitions and/or pastimes inside the Park are not included in the ticket price. For further information, visitors may consult the information point at the entrance or the Park’s website.

D) Parking rules

  1. The parking access ticket is purchased at the parking entrance barrier. Parking rates and operating rules are displayed prominently at the car park entrance before entry.
  2. The parking ticket entitles the holder to park a single vehicle on the same day the ticket is issued, from opening to closing time.
  3. There are parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities, which are clearly signposted.
  4. The Park reserves the right to remove the vehicle from the car park and move it outside its facilities if it has been parked improperly or if, at closing time, the vehicle has not been removed by its owner and remains on the premises; in both cases, the costs will be borne by the vehicle owner.
  5. Unsupervised parking. The Park is not responsible for damage to or theft of items inside the parked vehicle. It is the owner’s responsibility to remove non-fixed and removable accessories from vehicles, as well as any other items, objects or belongings placed in the vehicle, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  6. The parking ticket is valid for a single entry. If the holder leaves the car park, the parking fee shall be paid again upon exit.
  7. It is strictly prohibited to leave pets inside the vehicle.

E) Rules of conduct

  1. For reasons of courtesy and respect for others, it is not permitted to jump the queue or to reserve places for other persons in it. Visitors shall respect and wait their turn.
  2. In order for all visitors to enjoy the rides, at the end of each ride visitors shall leave the facility following staff instructions via the designated exit route. In order to use the ride again, visitors shall re-join and respect the queue.
  3. Visitors shall take care of their belongings at all times and shall not leave them unattended.
  4. Taking photographs and/or videos in the Park that show conduct, gestures, clothing, symbols and/or accessories that are disrespectful, obscene, unlawful, racist, xenophobic, or that in any other way undermine people’s dignity, or are inappropriate in a family and children’s leisure context, and/or that breach the Park’s operating rules, shall be prohibited. Likewise, the Park reserves the right not to take and/or sell photographs and/or videos in which such conduct is observed.
  5. The Park does not have a public address system for personal messages.

F) Breaches

The Park reserves the right of admission and expulsion from its facilities. Visitors who are refused admission or expelled shall not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever, in cases where they seriously contravene the listed rules. Furthermore, where such visitors are Bono Parques holders, measures may be applied consisting of withdrawal or cancellation of the Bono Parques for a serious breach, or temporary withdrawal or suspension of the Bono Parques for a minor breach, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of this product.

Likewise, and without prejudice to the foregoing, the Park reserves the right not to admit or to expel from its facilities, in particular, persons who seriously breach the rules listed below or who fall into any of the following situations:
